PARANÁ'S DESIGN NETWORK

The Design Center Paraná participates on and constitutes the main articulator of the Paraná's Design Network (RPrD). A non-profit organization, RPrD supports micro and small companies in the state which are interested in using design in the search for quality and competitiveness. Therefore it foments the development of innovative products and good design, as well as creating dynamics in the job market in the area.

RPrD was created as an initiative of the Brazilian Micro and Small Businesses Support Program (Sebrae), under the Via Design Program, in partnership with the following founding institutions: Design Center Paraná; DIA - Design, Innovation and Arts; Foundation for the Scientific and Technological Development of Toledo (Funtec), Tecnópolis Foundation of Maringá and National Industrial Learning Service (Senai).

Presently, RPrD is constituted by five member entities, strategically placed near production centers:

  • Design Center Paraná (Curitiba)

  • Regional Design Center
    Hardware and clothing design centers

  • DIA - Design, Innovation and Arts (Curitiba)
Design and Handcrafted Products Innovation Center

  • Senai/National Wood Technology and Furniture Center Cetman (Arapongas)Innovation and Furniture Design Center

  • Senai/Paraná's Industry Employers and Employees Integrated Center - Cietep (Curitiba)
    Innovation and Packaging Design Center

The RPrD is dynamic: member entities act independently and contact each other via a virtual platform and assemblies. To make this articulation easier, the Design Center Paraná makes the equipment and personnel resources structure available.
