On May 28th 2009, entrepreneurs and administrators of the city of Jaraguá do Sul/SC and neighboring areas had an opportunity to learn more about the design professional’s work and the contributions they can make for industrial productivity. That was the focus of the workshop “Design as a Tool for Business Competitiveness” that took place in the city’s Business Center.
Designer Ken Fonseca, who is also a professor at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR) and collaborator of the Paraná Design Center, conducted the activities. Presenting cases from the Design Center, Fonseca spoke about how companies can use design and innovation in their favor to create unique and attractive products for the market. |
