To acquire new knowledge and exchange experiences, the Design Center Paraná organized in 2001 a United Kingdom Mission (Glasgow/London). The event involved 14 Brazilian designers who, during 12 days, visited design offices, teaching institutions, galleries and British museums. The mission was financially backed up by the Science, Technology and College Education Secretary of Paraná (Seti).
