The Design Center Paraná promoted in Curitiba (PR) two editions of the Design-Industry Seminar. The first one took place on March 31st 2005 and had the topic "Best Practices for Leaders". The seminar presented outstanding practices for integration between designers and the industry, as well as promoted the interaction between professionals of both areas.

The event was organized in partnership with the Industry Federation System of Paraná (Fiep), through their Design Council, and received support from the National Industry Confederation (CNI) and the Brazilian Quality and Productivity Institute (IBQP).

The second edition of the Design-Industry Seminar, whose main topic was "Best Brazilian Practices", took place on May 12th 2006. The event showed the participants good design management practices in place by national companies.

At this time, the Design Center Paraná was again in partnership with the Fiep System, and the Industry University (Unindus) and the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL). Sponsoring came from the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai) with the support of the Furniture Excellence Center. 

Activities for both editions took place at Paraná's Integrated Entrepreneurs and Industry Workers Center (Cietep).
